Creative Commons Licenses I Use
We use images that fall under these specific Creative Commons (CC) licenses also:
CC0 (Public Domain Dedication): The creator waives all rights, allowing anyone to use, modify, or distribute the work without restrictions.
CC BY (Attribution): Allows modification and commercial use, provided proper credit is given to the original creator.
CC BY-SA (Attribution-ShareAlike): Similar to CC BY but requires that any modified versions be shared under the same terms.
If the copyright owner, or anyone aware of their identity, reaches out, I will contact them to seek permission. If the owner does not grant permission, I will remove the image/product from the website and any other channel as per the terms of our DCMA policy.
If you believe we have used an image without the appropriate rights, please contact us, and we will investigate the matter.
Quotes & Lyrics
The quotes we use in our artwork generally fall into the following categories:
- Our own original quotes.
- Short phrases, song titles, or well-known anthems, which typically do not fall under copyright restrictions.
- Non trademarked or copyright phrases.
- Parodied versions of well known and common phrases
Music, Films & TV Show References
When incorporating imagery inspired by music, films and TV shows, we create caricatures for comedic effect. According to UK copyright law (gov.uk), limited use of copyrighted material is allowed for the purposes of parody, caricature, and pastiche.
